Continuing Mirian's Legacy

Mirian's passion was always her service to God first, ensuring she was spreading His word and His love. She was endlessly active in various community organizations but her undying love was supporting the performing arts including her daughters' dance studio (Ebony Arrington Dance & Performance / Birmingham, AL) but most importantly their non-profit organization, Sisters Inspiring Sisters through the Arts (SISTA). 

The Mission of SISTA, Inc. is to motivate, uplift, and empower young girls and women through cultural experiences and exposure to the performing arts through scholarships and educational opportunities. 

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests memorial contributions to SISTA in her honor.
